David (Mike) Deckman of Beachwood, Ohio, passed away July 13, 2006.  He enlisted in the US Air Force and served in Vietnam, eventually rising to the rank of colonel. He retired from the military in 2004. A graduate of Westminster College, he received a master’s degree in art education from Ohio State University in 1981 and served the university as an instructor in cinematography and videography. Survivors include his wife, Adrienne; a daughter; and two sons.
