Lt. Col.
David Ronald Wiles, 52, of Cortland, OH., passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009
in Cleveland, OH. He was born November 14, 1956 in Fort Campbell, KY. to the
late Eugene Ronald and Helen Wilma Campbell Wiles.
David
was active duty as a navigator in the U.S. Air Force until time of death. He
served in Enduring Freedom , Iraqi Freedom and Desert Storm. He enjoyed playing
golf and traveling.
David
is survived by his fiancée, Hiroko Jo; his daughter, Jennifer Michelle Wiles of
Chicago, IL; and his sister Laurie (Colin) Nichols of Jefferson City, MO.
Preceding him in death are his parents and his brother, Roger Dale Johnson.
Visitation for Lt. Col. David Wiles will be held Thursday, November 5, 2009
after 6:30p.m. at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking & Crematory.
A
celebration of David's life will be held Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11:00 a..m.
at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking & Crematory. A military service honoring
David will be performed by Wright-Patterson AFB Honor Guard.
Interment will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery.
